ABSTRACT

This work is centered on the practice of reading in the classroom and has for main objective put forward a proposal of activity with the genre. In this research, we seek to present studies on the concept of text, giving emphasis to the genre, strip some linguistic aspects often found in the texts. Also take care about the concept of textual genre and their roles in society that are of great relevance, since they are responsible for the Organization of life in society. Still, we bring a brief read concept, emphasizing their relevance and contributions. Finally, with the intention of creating learning situations for the development of competence of learners ' reader, as well as provide a means for the genus Strip is introduced and explored in the school context effectively, we propose a didactic sequence, in which we make use of the theories treated in this work in order to bring a different proposal to work both reading comprehension and interpretationin everyday pedagogical practice.
