In the time of the Butterflies. Good Morning everyone a book called In the Time of the Butterflies written by Julia Alvarez which was adapted to a film in 2001. It is a novel based on a true history on the 1949 when Dominican Republic was under the dictator Rafael Leonidas Trujillo which period begin on 1930-1963. During his period the country was under a smart men was knew how to kill and make silence everyone who was not according to his decision. No democracy, no freedom, just the Boss Power.
