Afroperuano
Afroperuano es un término que designa a la cultura de los descendientes de las diversas etnias africanas que llegaron al Perú durante la Colonia, logrando una uniformidad cultural. La población afroperuana se halla, principalmente en la costa sur central, especialmente en Lima, Callao, y en las provincias de Cañete, Chincha, Ica, y Nazca. El otro segmento importante de población afroperuana se encuentra en la costa norte, entre Lambayeque, Piura y en menor medida Tumbes. En Piura se encuentra Yapatera, la ciudad con el mayor porcentaje de población afroperuana del país.

The Afro-Peruvian population is mainly located in surcentral, especially in Lima, Callao, lacosta, in the provinces of Cañete, Chincha, Ica and Nazca. Another important segment of Afro-Peruvian population is located on the North Coast, between Lambayeque, Piura, and to a lesser extent Tumbes. Piura is Yapatera, the city with the highest percentage of Afro-Peruvian of the country population.The term Afro-Peruvian is more closely related to the culture developed by the current descendienes of the negroscoloniales, since African populations who arrived to the Peru during the colony experienced over the centuries a deep fusion with Creole and native population. It is estimated that the total number of Afro-Peruvian population is around 7% of the national total, the majority are mestizada, i.e., composed of porzambos, Brown.In the year 2010 the National Institute of peoples Andean, Amazonian and Afro (INDEPA), it included 112 villages in most Afro-Peruvian throughout the national territory.
