At the completion of this course, the Tender Operator should be prepared to handle any situation that may arise during tender operations.

Entry level: Preferably Quartermasters and sailors with lifeboat certificates.

Trainers: Deck Officers, Engineers for the technical aspects, and a nurse for a first aid training.

Objective: Upon completion of the course, the candidate should be able to operate the tender in a safe and efficient manner and be able to respond to contingencies and emergencies. A certificate will be issued to those successfully completing the course.

Certificate: The format of the certificate is shown in Appendix A. The Vice Captain will satisfy himself as to the competency of each candidate and sign all certificates.

Applicability: This manual is applicable to all Crystal Cruises vessels.

Entering and Accounting for Revisions: Revisions will be sequentially numbered in accordance with the instructions contained therein. Their receipt and entry will be recorded on the Record of Revisions page provided.
