ABSTRACT
This paper aims to describe, discuss, design and present the operation of a system pulse magnetizer using the technique of charge / discharge capacitor bank in a magnetizing coil, in a form of an electrical current high value pulse (order of 400 A) generated in a short time interval (order of 2,0 ms). It discusses technical aspects of simulation, assembly and testing of a pulse magnetizer circuit operating at switching, generating signals in the form of electrical current pulses with under damped and critically damped response. From a sinusoidal voltage generated by the grid, the circuit rectifies its value in a continuous level and stores the energy in the capacitor banks. When operating the command button, the magnetizer circuit is powered by a pulse of electric current to circulate through the magnetizing coil and produces a magnetic field that is approximately 3.0 T, sufficient to magnetizing the materials that are placed in contact with the magnetic circuit. It is tested the design of a format C core magnetizing solenoid type. The core is formed by silicon steel plates. The material to be magnetized by the magnetizer system is formed by ferrite rods in a cylindrical shape. The magnetic field designed to magnetize these bars is greater than the value of magnetic saturation (3.0 T) of the ferrite. Finally, it is analyzed the operation and behavior of the circuit
