This change in profile where the man is gradually giving way to machine makes parts, harvesting the crops of cane sugar is more efficient. This change contributes to increased productivity, reduced soil compaction, higher moisture retention, reduced emergence of weeds and brought benefits to the environment. Demands arose as flat ground, without fail, scaling planting areas, planting shallower and upright growth of the cane, without overturning. It also generates negative effects, such as reducing the level of employment in the field, soil compaction, less uniform sprouting of stumps, need for high investment in the acquisition of machinery and a shorter length of cane sugar for what is accomplished manually . The aim of this work was to emphasize the positives and negatives involving the steps of cutting, loading and transportation of cane sugar - CCT.

INTRODUÇÃO

O Brasil é o maior produtor e consumidor do mundo de álcool, açúcar e cachaça (OLIVEIRA, 2006). Desde o Brasil colônia, a cultura da cana-de-açúcar ocupa um lugar destacado na economia brasileira, tendo caracterizado um ciclo histórico (BASTOS, 1987).
