ABSTRACT Leasing works is one of the most important applications of topography that can be so easily observed in various works, because to build, for example, is a difficult the necessary authoring mark the axis of the walls, marking the axis of the pillars, among others. The work location is basically the beginning of work, so its proper implementation is critical to the smooth running of it. This work is in the location of the pillars of a building using survey techniques. To achieve the same, was first made a reconnaissance of the area to choose the vertices of the polygon, then the survey was conducted in accordance with norms of ABNT, using instruments like total station, tripod, tape measure, hammer and iron pins. This survey were obtained from angles and distances that define the boundaries of the land. Was then inserted in the architectural design topographic, which were obtained the coordinates of pillars designed in that drawing. Through these points were calculated angles and distances from the pin materialized for the lease of the work. And finally, we made the field work relating to the lease, and to perform the same method was used for the polar system.
