A frightingflight

I have never been afraid of airplanes but that day I could feel fear growing inside me.

When I was about five and I was with my parents coming back from a holiday in Greece, the airplane we were flying in was hit by a lightning! I was sitting with my mom, and my father was sitting with my sister behind us. The lights went off and the air hostess started to scream at us to have our seat belts on.

The pilot calmly explained what but was going on.

I remember there was a lot of Muslims and they were all saying their prayers. I also remember a lady yelling that wewere all going to die and another lady stood up and smacked her across the face and said: “if we are all going to die we don´t want to listen to you”. I
