THE HUMAN RIGHTS FORUM,
Deeply concerned and alarmed by the persisting violence against women in most of
African countries,

Fully aware that women and children are often in great danger within their families which logic implies that it is where they should be the safest.

Bearing in mind that domestic violence is a health, legal, economic, educational, developmental issue,

Deeply consious that violence against women is present in every country, cutting across boundaries of culture, class, education, income, ethnicity and age.
