Sin embargo, hay otro tipo de adicciones lícitas que afectan tanto o más el círculo social de una persona. Podríamos hablar del alcohol, el tabaco e incluso de medicamentos controlados. Pero, en esta ocasión quiero enfocarme en los juegos de azar, pues es un tema que toca de cerca a mi familia. El juego de azar no depende de la habilidad del adicto, sino de la suerte. Son muchos los juegos de azar, como son muchos los efectos negativos que provocan. El bingo, las máquinas traga monedas, los caballos y la lotería son algunos de estos juegos.

Es importante orientar a los niños y a los jóvenes que el juego de azar deja de ser divertido cuando se vuelve compulsivo. Si no aceptas y enfrentas tu problema puedes perder tu familia, tus pertenencias y hasta la vida.
